Hi, my name is Monika, I'm freelance journalist/writer from Lithuania.

*I admire intellectual drug addicts (e.c. Sherlock Holmes)
*Sometimes I believe in my own lies
*I adore my grandmothers quilts
*I love my father and his sense of humor, his crazy stories…
*Sometimes I am unable to remember whether something has really happened or I have only dreamt it
*I do not like Ladybirds and Dragonflies, they freak me out…
*I talk to myself…
*I like to poor shot’s in Coca-Cola cap…
*I still believe I have magical powers (I’m victim of Harry Potter books (but hey, I was only 9 when they came out))
*Deep down inside me I still believe in Santa Claus…

So that's all about me... well, maybe not yet....
I try to find inspiration in every step of my life. Music and silence help the most.
I have lived in London for few years and took creative writing course there.
I loved England... people, culture, their pubs :). It's lovely there. Irelands and Wales landcapes inspired me as well. Those countries really are beautiful, stunning, inspiring, breathtaking... and cosy.
I love to paint as well, and sometimes I even seek for inspiration to write in my paintings.
Love watching movies and maybe one day I'll write a movie myself.
Love cats and puzzles, reading books and summertime, tea and chocolate cheescake, sleeping and dreaming, Hans Zimmer and U2, Tim Burton and Colin Firth... Sherlock Holmes and Shakespeare....
I enjoy learning new things, that's what inspires my. Learning about new cultures, someone's life story, new recipe, playing an instrument, etc... and doing something for a very first time...
